Making Quality Early Education Accessible
We know that finding the right nursery can feel overwhelming, especially when considering costs. At Sunshine Kidz, we offer funded places for 2, 3 and 4 year-olds, making high-quality early education accessible to families in our community.
This funding allows children to benefit from our enriching, EYFS-based learning environment without compromise, ensuring every child can enjoy a nurturing, stimulating start to their education.
2 Year-Old Funded Places (15 Hours)
Some 2 year-olds may be entitled to 15 hours of free early education each week for 38 weeks (570 hours per year), depending on family circumstances. We offer spaces to families who may be eligible, giving children the chance to settle into a structured yet playful environment, build confidence and start developing foundational skills in preparation for preschool.
3 & 4 Year-Old Funded Places (15 Hours)
After your child’s 3rd birthday, we will automatically apply for the 15 hours of government-funded early education. This provides 15 hours each week for 38 weeks (570 hours per year), giving your child the opportunity to continue developing early literacy, numeracy and social skills in a playful and engaging environment.
3 & 4 Year-Old Funded Places (30 Hours)
Additionally, we offer 3 and 4 year-old children 30 hours of free early education. To claim this benefit, parents need to apply for a code. You can check your eligibility and get your code through the below link, or contact us for more information. This additional funding provides more flexibility for families while continuing to support children’s development.
Tax-Free Childcare
Sunshine Kidz accepts all childcare voucher schemes, and the government also offers a Tax-Free Childcare scheme. This can help families further with childcare costs and ensure your child can enjoy our enriching environment.
Benefits Beyond Funding
While the funding and schemes help make nursery more accessible, the real value lies in the tailored experiences your child receives each day. Small class sizes, caring educators and stimulating environments mean every child can flourish, build confidence and enjoy learning at their own pace. We also offer a wide range of activities including outdoor play, creative arts, music, and early STEM experiences, all designed to support holistic development and spark curiosity in every child.
