We understand that choosing the right childcare is probably one of the most important decisions you will ever make. The Sunshine Kidz team are here to offer support and guidance and answer all of your questions. Our nursery is unique, just like our families and we offer peace of mind for parents and a safe and secure environment for children to flourish.

Funding for children aged 9 months to 2 years (Working Families)
Eligible working parents may receive funded childcare hours from the term after their child turns 9 months old.
This offer is being rolled out nationally and allows families to access funded early education subject to eligibility criteria.
Parents must apply via the Childcare Service and provide a valid code which must be reconfirmed every 3 months.
3- & 4-Year-Old Universal Funding (15 Hours)
All children are entitled to 15 hours of funded early education per week from the term after their third birthday.
2-Year-Old Funding (Disadvantaged Families)
Some 2-year-olds may be eligible for funded childcare based on specific criteria such as income support or additional needs.
We welcome families eligible for this funding — please contact us or check eligibility via your local authority.
3- & 4-Year-Old Extended Funding (Up to 30 Hours)
Eligible working parents may receive up to 30 hours of funded childcare per week.
A valid eligibility code is required and must be renewed regularly.
Important information about funding
Funding is paid directly to the nursery by the government.
Funded hours cover early education and care only.
Optional charges may apply for meals, consumables, or additional services.
Parents can discuss alternative arrangements if they do not wish to take optional extras.
Funding is subject to availability and eligibility.
Tax-Free Childcare
Sunshine Kidz accepts Tax-Free Childcare and most childcare voucher schemes. Families can use these to pay for additional hours, meals, or optional services.

Once you receive your code, please provide it to the nursery so we can check eligibility.
Termly declarations
Parents must complete and sign a funding declaration form each term to confirm attendance patterns and eligibility.
